Glass Mica Glass Sheet Class ‘F’ & ‘H’ :
· Scope : This specification lies down of Flexible Glass Mica Glass Sheet. Suitable for insulation inside of the induction furnace, they are wrapped insulation of motors, generators and transformers slot liner ground insulation.
Construction :
The sheets shall be made up of several layers of Jharkhand origin Mica Splittings bonded with an ‘F’ & ‘H’ class insulation varnish reinforce both side with 1.7 mils thick Glass Fabric, The varnish shall be cured to the tack free.

General :
Flexible Glass Mica Glass shows excellent thermal resistance, electrical properties, and Flexibility to satisfactory at ambient Temp. Glass mica glass sheet also be made by mica paper in as usual sizes, available thickness: 0.13 to 0.4 mm.
Class of Insulation :
o ‘H’ CLASS THERMAL : Continuous services 180°C and Intermittent services up to 350°C
o ‘F’ CLASS THERMAL : Continuous services 150°C and Intermittent services up to 200°C
· Self Life : Six month from the date of manufacturing if, the materials are kept/stored at 20°c.
